Public Lobby
Numerous themes and designs were considered for the lobby of this prominent downtown office tower. The owner chose a design meant to give visitors a moment to consider their feelings of patriotism and pride. Where at one time a traditional flag was displayed, a 9' bronze flag was installed with a bronze sculpture of a man on a bench gazing upward.

Retail Mall
The concept for the atrium entry fountain sculpture is inspired by the use of Minnesota indigenous granite. This unusual form presents a massive large stone that has a presence and strength yet suggests movement.
The piece is a unique organic shape with angled edges that form a softly abstracted parallelogram. It is the parallelogram edge that takes the eye of the viewer around the piece and imparts a sense of movement.

Public Lobby
This metal sculpture, Topo-graphy rises forty feet into the air. It was the first major public commission by this engineer and artist who typically does fabricating for other artists. A map of the original street plan for the location of this first ring suburb was the basis for the design. The artist hand-crafted metal birds and flowers to drift across the map as if a gust of wind from an open door just moved through the space.

Renovated Historical Building
The theme of Unity, Community and Opportunity is embedded throughout the public art program in this beautifully repositioned urban complex and can be summed up with the commissioned piece, Pleased to Meet You. The geometric forms are used as a universal language to convey cyclic connection not only within the community, but within the world as a whole.
